Primitive Bunny Pincushion
Using a Country Stitches pattern I made this little pincushion. Oh is it ever cute!! Measure 7.5 x 3.5 inches. Made from aged aida cloth and a soft blue colored wool fabric on underside. Filled with polyfil, crushed walnut shells and sand. Bunny is made from a soft cream wool fabric with simple stitches for nose and eyes. Flax fibers were used for his whiskers. His soft bunny tale is wool that has been needle felted in place. His pillow he sits on has a floral motif stitched on the top and is finished off with vintage seam binding stitched in place. He comes signed and dated from a smoke free home.
