Primitive Love Bear
Using a Bits of Cloth pattern I made this shaggy bear. He measures 13 inches tall from the bottom of his wood base to the top of his head. Made from shaggy fur that has been aged. Tiny button eyes and simple stitched nose. His arms are wired so you can remove the handmade heart and add something else if you like. Move his arms to hold a flag, or a basket ideas are endless. He holds a fabric heart made from aged osnaburg fabric and stitched with cross stitches and simple embroidery with linen thread. Finally he has legs that are doweled and set firmly in this wooden base. He comes from my smoke free home.

PRIMITIVE OL HARE
Using a Crow and Weasel pattern I made this adorable Primitive Ol Hare bunny. Approx 10 inches tall. Made from a raggedy fur fabric that has been aged. Simple stitched eyes and nose with flax fibers for whiskers. Ears and arms are wired to allow you to shape as you wish. The little basket in front is handtacked in place and can be removed if you wish. Basket holds grass trims and three wool carrots. Handmade from a sweater I fitted this little jacket for her to wear. Adding some accent embroidery stitches, buttons, vintage lace and vintage seam binding to finish it off. She wears a slip made from old vintage lining fabric. This little ol Hare is not a toy but for decorating only.....

Primitive Peter Rabbit
Just the cutest little rabbit I named Peter Rabbit. Measures approx 10 inches tall from the bottom of his wood base to the top of his head. Made from raggedy fur that has been aged. Simple stitched nose with flax fibers for whiskers. Eyes are seed beads stitched in place. He has wood doweled legs that attach firmly into the base below. Vintage tiny cream colored buttons are stitched up the front of him and covered in clear vintage glass glitter. Around his neck is a collar of crepe paper gathered and glittered. He holds a small pack on his backside made from an old green cutter quilt. Filled inside is grassy trims and three handmade wool carrots. His arms are wired so you can move them at will.... and held in one of the little hands is another small wool carrot. He comes signed and dated.
